In churches that have adopted a single-board leadership model, members of the single board serve as members of all three leadership committees required by the Book of Discipline (Finance, Trustees, and Staff-/Pastor-Parish Relations Committee). Members of single-board leadership teams should take the introduction course as well as the courses for each committee to be fully aware of their roles and responsibilities.
